Sample Appraisal
Fees
Freeman’s charges strictly for the appraiser’s time and incurred expenses for our appraisals, not based upon the value of the property appraised. If warranted, we are happy to make a preliminary visit in order to assess the size and scale of the appraisal free of charge. Based upon this assessment, we are able to offer a firm estimate for our services.
Time
Your completed document will arrive within six weeks from the date of the appointment. If the need should arrise we will work to accomodate your deadline.
Confidentiality
We are recommended by high net worth advisors, fine art insurers and major law firms and our appraisers are discreet, confidential and efficient in their process in order to protect the identity of clients.
Regional offices
With national and international reach, we are able to arrange for an appointment anywhere in the United States and Europe. Our offices are conveniently located in Philadelphia and Charlottesville, with representatives in Annapolis, New York, DC, Nashville, Ashville, London, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Corporate Collections
Our internationally known fine art specialists will prepare a comprehensive inventory of all of the objects in your collection with fair market and/or insurance values. Our appraisers can be comprehensive or focused based on the needs of your corporation and can guide you through the process of deaccessioning any or all the objects in your collection. The finished appraisal comes professionally bound for your convenience with high resolution images and PDF digital versions available upon request.
In a changing market we recommend a re-appraisal for your collection every two to five years. This service is provided with ease and at a fraction of the cost of a comprehensive appraisal. A sample of corporate collections that we have sold in the past include: Morgan Stanley, Lehman Brothers and Deloitte & Drambuie.
