Boston Office

I discovered first-hand that Kelly is truly focused on delivering a solid product and excellent client service. My client could not be happier. Freeman’s did a great job.
– Ellen Essenfeld, Estate Executive

Freeman’s Boston heritage goes back to the 1920s, when we were among the first tenants of the new Boston Chamber of Commerce building. Our current office in Boston’s Old City Hall reaffirms our commitment to best serve our New England clients, providing a global connection to the fine art and antiques.

Guided by 200 years of family tradition, Freeman’s remains dedicated to the standard of one-on-one service. Make an appointment at our Boston office and take advantage of a full range of services, including:

• Complimentary verbal auction estimates for single items or entire collections
• Formal written appraisals for: estate-planning, estate tax, charitable donations, gift tax and insurance

For generations, New Englanders have looked to Freeman’s to introduce their treasures to the world. With the strength of our Philadelphia departments, we build on a foundation of specialized knowledge and continue to achieve auction records in all major collecting areas. Freeman’s targeted advertising, live Internet bidding and strategic alliance with Scotland’s oldest auction house, Lyon & Turnbull, attracts a broad range of bidders and ensures a strong presence in the global marketplace. At Freeman’s, you’ll find the rare and exceptional; both in our service and our auctions. Call at your convenience to schedule an appointment at our location or yours.

The world-class expertise Kelly Wright brings to Freeman’s Boston office is rooted in over 20 years as an appraiser, art advisor and private broker in the Northeast. His experience includes over fifteen years in New York City, appraising and advising corporate collections such as Warnaco and Lehman Brothers as well as overseeing the private estate collections of William Paley, Myrna Loy and Edward Wormley. Kelly moved his business to Boston in 2003 before joining Freeman’s in the winter of 2010. As a USPAP certified appraiser, Connecticut native and a Vassar graduate, his passion and knowledge give Freeman’s a unique insight into the Boston and New England markets.
