Freeman's holds approximately 30 auctions a year spanning over 40 specialty categories that range from folk art to contemporary design. The first step to consigning your property for sale at auction is to request an auction estimate. Our team of uniquely qualified specialists will examine your fine art, antiques and jewelry to determine if it is appropriate for sale at Freeman's, and if so to provide you with the fair market value of the property.

For those clients outside the Philadelphia area, Freeman's regional representatives in the New England, Southeast, and West Coast areas are available to assist you with every step of the consignment process.

Charges & Fees
Standard charges include consignor's commission and insurance, but may also include fees for transportation. Exact terms may be discussed with your specialist or Freeman's contact. Potential consignments or collections of significant value will be addressed by a comprehensive proposal.
Shipping & Receiving
In order to allow time for research, cataloguing, photography and promotion, we request that property for auction be on the premises at least eight weeks prior to the sale date. Payment will be sent thirty-five (35) days after the auction for all lots sold and collected along with a detailed settlement statement.
