On the heels of its back-to-back auctions American Art and Pennsylvania Impressionists: Featuring the Collection of Charles and Virginia Bowden and A Beautiful Reality: The Fine Art Collection of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Rifkin, Freeman’s presents Collect: American Art on December 6. The sale offers fine opportunities for buyers at all stages to expand their collections, with a particular focus on 19th-and 20th-century painting by artists including Samuel S. Carr, William Sargeant Kendall, George Cope, Joseph Barrett, and Arthur Meltzer, among many others.
