The case 20th century, the works signed William Sprunt Edzell, 18th century and later

The hood with stepped sarcophagus top, having two giltwood ball finials, the case with arched door, on molded base, the arched brass face engraved, "Wm. Sprunt Edzell," decorated with applied dolphin and figural spandrels.
