An antique diamond and pink sapphire pendant/brooch/hair clip
c. 1885

designed as a circular shaped pendant centering a cushion-cut pink sapphire weighing approximately 2.50 carats, surrounded by four larger old mine-cut diamonds; estimated total diamond weight: 3.20 carats, further accented by smaller old mine-cut diamonds; estimated total remaining diamond weight: 2.75 carats, suspending three pearls, not tested for nature, set in eighteen karat gold with diamond-set pendant bale.
