A Chinese Export gilt-decorated black lacquer cabinet-on-stand
circa 1750

The upper section with paneled sides and two doors displaying painted scenic landscapes, engraved escutcheons and two handles on the sides, the interior doors with painted floral motifs and foliage, revealing a fitted and tiered interior in the form of a room with balustrade and sliding doors, the lower section with decorated top, pierced frieze and notched x-form stretcher, on brass casters.

H: 47 3/4 in. W: 26 in. D: 14 1/4 in.
