A George III gilt-bronze mounted red japanned bracket clock
Thomas Moore, London, late 18th century

With front and back case doors revealing arched brass face and mechanism, the face engraved, "Tho. Moore/ London," and decorated with applied brass spandrels, the case with glazed side panels, the japanning depicting floral motifs, diaperwork, birds, and figures and pavilions in landscapes, the stepped top with gilt bronze handle, the front two corners with gilt bronze mounts featuring busts of ladies over floral garlands, on gilt bronze paw feet.

H: 21 in. W: 13 1/4 in. D: 9 1/4 in.
