A pair of George III scagliola inlaid and giltwood demilune tables
circa 1780

The marble tops with inlaid fan and bands of Neoclassical motifs including anthemion, Greek key, and roundels featuring alternating laurel branches and bell-shaped flowers, the giltwood bases composed of fluted frieze with upper egg-and-dart molding and interrupted by carved rosettes, the three slightly-tapered square legs with masque and acanthus terminals over fluting, ending in square tapered feet.
