The rectangular lid inlaid with checkerboard playing surface lifts off to reveal inlaid Backgammon gameboard within case fitted with drawers at either end for storing game pieces, all supported on four turned, tapering legs.

Provenance: According to family tradition, this table was made by an ancestor of consignor for a handicapped relative.
