late 19th / early 20th century

Domed and hinged lid with gem set lapis lazuli knob, on rectangular body, handles on sides, allover with inset cut-glass panels etched with various animal, harvest, and other motifs including birds, owl, bat, fish, wheat and sheaf, floral urns, baskets, horn, and lit torches, the case with scolled legs on paw-form feet.

H: 4 3/4 in. W: 5 3/4 in. D: 4 /14 in.
