Artist Biography
Born in Abingdon, Virginia in 1979, Morgan received a B.A. in Fine Art from Roanoke College, in Salem Virginia, a B.F.A. in ceramics from the California College of Arts and Crafts, and an M.F.A. in ceramics from the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University. Morgan has taught at the California State University in Long Beach and Gettysburg College, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Between 2011 and 2015, Morgan completed a residency at the Clay Studio, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Exhibited internationally, Morgan’s work can be found in the permanent collections of the Schein-Joseph International Museum of Ceramic Art, Alfred, New York the California College of Arts, Los Angeles, California, the Archie Bray foundation, Helena, Montana and many private collections.
