French sculptor John B. Binon is best known for his plaster portrait bust of John Adams (1735-1826), 1818, currently in the Boston Athenaeum.
John Taylor Gilman (1753-1828) represented New Hampshire in the Continental Congress from 1782 to 1783 and served as Governor of New Hampshire from 1794 to 1805, and then again, from 1813 to 1816.
