The main panel woven of colored silks, with a lotus blossom centering scrollwork, a bat at each corner, within lotus scroll and key-fret borders, applied orange and red patterned silk canopy; ink insciption and applied red wax seal verso.

Acquired by the present owner from either from the Boudhanath Stupa, Kathmandu, circa 1973-1975 or Kullu Manali, North India, Himachal Pradesh
