Hunn' to the lid, hinged to reveal a velvet-lined interior fitted with a sewing kit comprising a pair of scissors with protective lid, etui, thimble, finger guard, awl, bodkin, and gilt-metal mounted blue glass scent bottle; several pieces engraved 'Lydia J. Hunn' or 'L.J. Hunn,' the thimble additionally engraved '1839,' the etui engraved 'Mary B. Sharpless' and 'T&M.'
