A Chinese Jizhou spotted ovoid vase
Southern Song Dynasty

The elegantly potted tapering body rising to broad rounded shoulders, with a short cylindrical neck with everted rim, finely decorated with a spotted glaze in concentric rows, against a dark brown ground, save for the unglazed underside revealing the buff body.
