Two Chinese painted pottery earth spirits
Tang dynasty

One a human-faced creature with entwined horns and three "wings" on each shoulder, remnants of pigments; the other depicting a seated beast with elaborate horned crest and serpentine "wings" to shoulders. . Accompanied by the results of Oxford Authentication thermoluminescence test #C101t66 and #C101t64, dated August 17, 2001, stating the results are consistant with the suggested age of manufacture.
