Denslow. Original second state green pictorial cloth, with publisher's imprint at foot of spine stamped in red unserifed type, boards stamped in green and red, boards and spine lightly soiled and rubbed; all edges stained yellow; pictorial grey-tone front paste-down and pictorial red and black pictorial rear past-down, as issued; gutter exposed between signatures in the following places, pp. 32-33, (64-65), 96-(97), 112-113, 128-129, 144-145, and at pp.161 and (177); plates facing pp. 12 and 220 slightly loose; scattered minor soiling in text edges; green ink stamp of previous owner on front fly leaf; in quarter morocco slip case and chemise.
