Playbill for an Early Stage Production of "Good Morning Bill!"

Knightstone Pavilion, Weston-super-Mare, July 10-12, no year (ca. 1930s). Original printed playbill. 16 3/4 x 11 1/2 in. (42.5 x 29.2cm). In frame. See McIlvaine J34.

Original printed playbill for one of the first performances of "Good Morning Bill!" It was first performed in London at the Duke of York's Theater, opening on November 28, 1927, and running for 146 performances. In 1934 it ran at Dalys Theater, London for 78 performances. It is presumed that this performance occured sometime after the first or second productions, as noted by the reference to the use of the original Duke of York's production on the playbill, as well as by the arrangement with Robert Courtneidge, who died in 1939.
