The rectangular box with deep cover, finely decorated in gold and silver lacquer on maki-e ground and with inlaid aogai chips, with scenes of Chinese boys in a landscape, the interior with a tray holding six smaller boxes decorated with various objects. Retains an orange silk cord and tassels.
