A Chinese incised black-glazed stoneware bottle vase
Yuan dynasty

The bulbous body on tapering foot, surmounted by a trumpet neck rising to a flared rim, covered with a lustrous dark brown/black glaze, incised with a broad band of vegetal scrolls at the shoulder and body, the glaze stopping in an irregular line above the foot to expose the buff-grey body.
