Note

The present lot was designed by Kagan in 1950 as his office desk that he shared with his partner, Hugo Dreyfuss, in their East 57th St. offices in New York. Kagan was 23 years old at the time of the desk's design, and he reacquired the desk in his last years to include in his personal design archive.
