Note
Johannes Schlosser (1754-1823) was born to farmer Peter Schlosser and his wife Catherine of Whitehall Township. Johannes married Christine Wirth (1767-1839) in 1784, and the couple had at least eight children. The Schlossers moved from Northampton (now Lehigh) to York (now Adams) County to Canton Township, Stark County, Ohio, where their property was left to two of their sons, George and Henry at the death of Johannes.
