Artist Biography
David Regan was born in Buffalo, New York, in 1964. Subsequently, he attended the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design and graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology with a BFA in 1986. Upon graduation, Regan completed a residency at the Archie Bray Foundation in Helena, MT from 1986 to 1988. Completing his education, Regan received his MFA in ceramics from Alfred University in 1990.
Regan also serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Montana, where he lives and has a studio. His work appeared in various group and solo exhibitions and is included in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, The Mint Museum, Charlotte, NC, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and the Long Beach Museum of Art, Long Beach, CA. Regan and his wall tiles were featured on the HGTV show “Modern Masters” in 2002.
