Depicting a banquet scene, with an elaborate diaper and scroll-decorated rim, inscribed at the top: "Chu ri Baohedian yan waifan menggu", loosely translated as "New Year celebration for Mongolians at the Baohedian". NOTE: Baohedian, or Hall of Preserved Harmony, likely refers to the Hall in the center of the Forbidden City, Beijing, which was used for Imperial banquets, including those celebrating the New Year for Mongol and Manchu Princes.
