The Office for Inter-American Affairs was established by President Roosevelt on July 30, 1941, with the goal of promoting cooperation throughout the Americas, and to counter German and Italian propaganda efforts in those regions.

Deaccessioned by the Valentine Museum to benefit collections care, preservation, and future acquisitions.
