One of the most important and influencial printed maps of America ever produced. Many versions of this map were produced during the 17th & early 18th century, principly in the Netherlands. Examples of the original issues printed in England by William Hole beginning in 1612, such as this example, are extremely rare.
Burden 164, 2nd state; Verner p20/21, state 2 of 12 - locating 111 extant copies in 12 printed states from 1612-1632, 2/3rds in the 9th & 10th state.
