Surmounted by a jester finial, the shell form cover with pewter mounts, the body molded in the form of a castle tower around which brightly dressed figures in medieval clothing dance, all between ivy borders joined by a twisted vine handle, the base impressed Mintons, shape number 1231, date cypher for 1873.
