An Impressive Pair of Louis XVI Style Malachite and Gilt Bronze Urns
20th century

Campana form, gilt bronze circular band to rim depicting rocaille, scrolls and bellflowers, two Bacchus mask handles mounted to the shoulder issuing floral swags, the body centered by medallions with maidens on each side, supported by socle with acanthus leaf design raised on square base.

H: 37 1/2, W: 28 in.
