Note
The present painting will be accompanied by a letter from the Artist dated November 6, 1967. In it, Leith-Ross reveals the exact location of the painting: "Do you remember the hill known as Buckingham Mountain situated between Pineville and Bunckingham? There is still a very rough road leading to the top where you find a small church and a rather desolate cemetery." In the letter, the artist recalls: "One spring day when driving down the east slope, and from a point about half way down, I saw this landscape and painted it much as it is."
