The cover humorously surmounted by a pair of mallards and a pair of hares, their ears joined to form a handle, each anxiously peeking its head out from 'within' a pâte mold form dish below, the dish supported by an integral basketweave tray mounted with rope handles to each end, impressed Mintons, shape number 1990, date cypher for 1876 to base.
