Note:
Although erroneously dated 1917 by Man Ray, the artist's card file held at the Centre Pompidou archives confirms the date of execution as 1918. The present owner's mother, a close friend of Man Ray's niece, Naomi Savage, received this drawing as a gift from the artist after visiting him in his studio in Paris.
