Artist Biography

Thomas Kekic was born in 1943 and attended Kent State University. He received his MFA from the Pratt Institute. In the 1970s, he helped develop and was head of the glass department at RITs School for American Craftsmen. He participated in the renowned traveling 1973 exhibition "American Glass Now," which was shown at the Renwick Gallery, the Toledo Museum of Art, and the American Crafts Council, among other venues. He was owner and operator of Bristol Glassworks in Canandaigua, New York.
