A Chinese carved greyish celadon and beige jade archaistic "Birds" vessel and cover
Qing Dynasty, 18th/19th Century

Decorated with three finely carved front-facing phoenix with spread wings holding a jewel in each beak, archaistic cloud scrolls patterns along surface; lotus pod-carved loose circular cover, the foot pierced with three apertures.

H: 3 3/4 in.
