Ray Comstock and William Elliott, staged by Robert Milton and Edward Royce, and starring Vivienne Segl and Carl Randall. Book and lyrics by Guy Bolton and P.G. Wodehouse, and music by Jerome Kern. Wodehouse later adapted the play into the novel "The Small Bachelor" (1927). “Bill” would reappear in the 1927 Jerome Kern and Oscar Hammerstein II hit, Show Boat, the only song not written by either man.
