Morris' first book. Only 500 copies were printed, and only 250 were bound.
George Goyder (1826-1898) was an English surveyor in the Colony of South Australia in the latter half of the nineteenth-century. He is remembered for devising the Gordon's Line, an east-west line across South Australia that designates arable and non-arable land based on annual rainfall.
