The second title of English stage magician Will Goldston's three-volume set describing the secrets to well-known magical tricks or illusions, with original locking mechanism. Goldston (1878-1948) was a lifelong friend of famed illusionist Harry Houdini, and founder of the London Magician's Club.
Carl Brema (1864-1942) was a Philadelphia based magician and vaudeville actor. His company Carl Brema and Co., was a manufacturer of brass apparatuses used in many magical or illusionists routines, and his son Bill would go on to help found Kanter's Magic Shop on Walnut Street in Philadelphia.
