Elizabeth King joins Freeman’s as the Houston regional representative after a twenty-five year career in intellectual property law. Prior to joining Freeman's, Ms. King dedicated her career to trademark protection strategies and served as the first non-STEM president in the 57-year history of the Houston Intellectual Property Law Association. She has deep roots in Newport, Rhode Island, as her mother is a third-generation Newporter. Because of her exposure in Newport to art, furniture, and culture, Ms. King has a passion for early American furniture, and historic knowledge of Tiffany & Co. dating back to Tiffany Makers. She also has a love for the art of Pablo Picasso, having studied his works independently and through the Glasscock School at Rice University. Ms. King is excited to join Freeman’s expanding team and offer any guidance to the many services Freeman’s provides to its clients.
