Heather Semple

Over the past 30 years, Heather Semple has worked as the curator, advisor, and appraiser of three large art collections: PNC Bank (1989-2000), the Hardy Family Art Collection at Nemacolin, a resort in Pennsylvania's Laurel Highlands (2006-2016) and the Duquesne Club (2008-2017). After graduating from Middlebury College’s summer intensive Italian program, she lived in Florence and later guided and managed more than 45 Italian tours for museums and alumnae associations. 

 

Semple completed New York University's art appraisal program in 2001 and has been a certified member of the Appraisers Association of America and compliant in Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practices from 2001-2022. Her business, ECI Art & Travel, offers fine art appraisals and presentations on topics ranging from Italian Renaissance art history to Pennsylvania Impressionists and appraisal approaches for financial advisors, trusts, and law firms.
