Southern California native Lourdes Winnick is a senior jewelry and watch specialist for Freeman's and a current touring jewelry appraiser for PBS's Antiques Roadshow.
Winnick is a bilingual specialist who brings two decades of hands-on jewelry experience to Freeman's, specializing in estate jewelry, Swiss timepieces, signed jewelry, large carat diamond sizes in the D-Z color range, and fancy diamond colors.
Before joining Freeman's in 2021, she was a founding partner of a small chain of fine jewelry stores in Long Beach, California, specializing in custom jewelry, hard-to-find Rolex watches, appraisals, and antique jewelry restoration services. After relocating to the East Coast, Winnick continued her career in jewelry by accepting a position with a regional auction house, where she conceptualized and executed a fine jewelry department that eventually led her to Freeman's.
In addition to being a graduate of the Gemological Institute of America with a concentration in diamonds, Winnick is a Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses alumna. She is also an accredited member of the International Society of Appraisers, the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers, the American Society of Jewelry Historians, and the Philadelphia Chapter of the Women's Jewelry Association. Her involvement in these organizations, hands-on approach, and experience help Freeman's clients achieve auction success.
