Three artists share their uncommon vision in ‘Kindred Spirits,’ a new exhibition at Freeman’s Gallery in Wayne, from October 23 through November 8. Annie Patrizi is a third generation painter whose imagery cleverly fuses diverse cultural traditions. Her newest paintings inspire us to look at the birds and animals sharing our planet in a different way. Polly Davis Chalfant begins each of her images by making a tiny creature out of a kneaded eraser. Her finished pieces welcome you into her unique, imaginary world. Lisa Muller layers her work with a surreal geometry that is at once colorful, quirky, and compelling.
An opening reception to meet the artists will be held Thursday October 25, from 7-9pm.
