On December 16, Freeman’s rounded out its fall season with the Silver & Objets de Vertu sale. Offering an exceptional array of fine flatware, centerpieces, enamel ornaments and personal accessories, the top lot was the Tiffany & Co enameled cigarette case. The cigarette case, made for and exhibited at the 1900 Exposition Universelle in Paris, surpassed its $5,000-7,000 estimate to achieve $40,000.

Freeman’s is now accepting consignments for the May 20, 2015 Silver & Objet de Vertu sale.
