"Do something wonderful, people may imitate it." - Albert Schweitzer

This Friday's auction of Books, Maps & Mansucripts includes a wholly unique collection of letters, photographs and related materials; a dossier of documents pertaining to the astonishingly prolific career of Dr. Albert Schweitzer. The collection charts a vast period of Schweitzer’s variegated career, and ranges from the late 1910s to the end of his life at his hospital in Gabon.

In this insightful video, books specialist Ben Truesdale examines this rare collection of documents. You can read more about the group here, and we invite you to come see these documents for yourself. Exhibition is free and open to the public through Thursday 10-5, and the auction is Friday at 10am.
