Freeman’s is delighted to be a sponsor of Asia Week Hong Kong 2015 along with our sister company Lyon & Turnbull. The 16-day annual affair celebrates Asian arts with a series of events and programming and will commence on May 27 and continue through June 11. Both auctioneers, along with AWHK organizers, will co-host the opening night cocktail reception at the esteemed China Club, once the Bank of China Building, in Central Hong Kong.

I am honored to represent Freeman’s and the Asian Arts department during Asia Week Hong Kong. This is an ideal opportunity for us to meet with art patrons and collectors during this prestigious gathering in the traditional seat of the international Asian art market. In the US, we are uncovering many fine and rare Chinese artworks that have been in private hands for generations. We look forward to sharing these exciting discoveries with our Chinese clients.

- Richard Cervantes, Vice President and Asian Arts Department Head

Asia Week Hong Kong is collaboration between galleries, museums, auction houses, and cultural institutions. Its aim is to broaden the knowledge of art enthusiasts and collectors in this premier city, while fostering and nurturing the next generation of collectors and art patrons. This year’s focus is on the city’s rich history and heritage.

Hollywood Road, the renowned epicenter for Hong Kong’s antique trade, will be a key part of the festivities. It is also where Chak Investments Limited’s International Antiques Fair will be held. Both Freeman’s and Lyon & Turnbull are co-exhibiting at the exposition.
