Prominent trial attorney Lanny Vines, well known nationally for the high-profile class-action and personal injury cases he represents, has traveled the world building a large and refined collection of fine art and antiques. This expansive collection, which Mr. Vines built alongside his impressive legal career, includes extraordinary sterling silver, period French and English furniture, paintings and sculpture. Until recently, this collection was displayed throughout his historic and magnificent five-acre Redmont home overlooking the city of Birmingham. Designed by the preeminent architectural firm of Warren, Knight and Davis, whose work is credited with establishing Birmingham 's distinctive style in the 1920s, this historic home was an ideal compliment to Mr. Vines ' outstanding collection of fine art and antiques.Mr. Vines philanthropic activities, both personal and through the Lanny S. Vines Foundation, have provided multiple opportunities over the years to share the beauty of his historic home and vast collection of art and antiques with benefactors of his charitable and political endeavors.
