March 26, 2020 Update:

Our Design auction, originally scheduled for March 31, has been postponed to April 3 and will proceed as an online-only auction. This sale will feature notable works by George Nakashima, Samuel Yellin, a selection of lamps from Tiffany studios, and more. 

Works by Wharton Esherick from the Hedgerow Theatre Collection will be offered in June, accompanied by a public exhibition. Exact date to follow.

Following the success of our first exclusive online jewelry auction this past week—with 44% new bidders, all registered through our online channels - we are delighted to continue to make our auctions accessible to a wide and discerning audience of collectors worldwide. Stay tuned for more information on upcoming auctions.

Galleries, Pick-Ups & Deliveries

In acknowledgement of city-wide guidelines our galleries and offices will be closed to the public until further notice. All staff will be working remotely and will be able to assist you should you have questions or concerns.

We offer live online bidding through our complimentary online bidding platform, Freeman’s LIVE, which can be accessed from our website or downloaded from the App Store.

Our auctions are also hosted on two other platforms, Invaluable and LiveAuctioneers. Condition reports can be requested via email or phone.

  • Our exhibition and auction for the Martin Magovsky Collection of Award-Winning Children's Books on March 25th has been postponed. Details to follow.

March 16, 2020 Update: Online Bidding with Freeman's Live

At Freeman's, the health and safety of our clients and employees is our biggest concern and top priority. 

All of our locations and galleries are closely monitoring the coronavirus and following the guidance of the CDC (Centers for Disease Control), the WHO (World Health Organization) and government agencies. 

We recognize the uncertainty caused by the pandemic and are taking the necessary steps to ensure the well-being of our employees and community while also continuing to provide our clients with viable remote alternatives.  

In acknowledgement of social distancing and city-wide guidelines our galleries and offices will be closing as of March 16, 2020 at 5pm through at least March 27 (pending further developments). All staff will be working remotely and will be able to assist you should you have questions or concerns.

In support of these measures, we encourage you to explore and familiarize yourselves with our many other remote bidding options.
