Amy Parenti heads Freeman's Appraisal department. She manages the appraisal process and works closely with all departments at Freeman’s to ensure appraisals of the highest quality. Additionally as a Trusts & Estates Representative, Amy services Bucks, Montgomery and Mercer counties for Freeman's.
Ms. Parenti first joined Freeman’s in 2006. She spent several years as a Specialist with the American Furniture, Folk & Decorative Arts department, gaining experience and knowledge about all things American including furniture, silver, folk art and decorative arts from the Colonial period through to the 21st century. Quickly gaining first-hand experience by visiting numerous clients in their homes, reviewing images submitted for sale, and performing all types of appraisals including estate, insurance and those for charitable donations, Ms. Parenti made the transition to Appraisals and Trusts & Estates in 2012.
Collecting from an early age and the daughter of an antiques dealer, Ms. Parenti attended Philadelphia University’s Appraisal Study program. She has embraced the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) guidelines and ensured the seamless integration of these practices into Freeman’s appraisal processes. She is an accredited member of the Appraisers Association of America (AAA). Within the Trusts & Estates Department, Amy shares her knowledge and passion with estate attorneys, accountants, wealth advisors, trust officers and related professionals with the goal of ensuring that clients are knowledgeable of the value of their personal property and assisting them in making informed decision about their collections. She is a member of several estate planning councils in the Philadelphia and New Jersey area and she is responsible for building awareness of Freeman’s auction and appraisal service. She is a resident of the Doylestown, PA where she is active in several local community groups.
