Tom McCabe serves as a Vice President of Freeman's, works with Freeman's Private & Corporate Art Collections, and is Head of Business Development. He specializes in trust and estate services, marketing, special events, website direction and museum services. Mr. McCabe also co-heads our private and corporate collections departments a growing part of Freeman’s global business.
Mr. McCabe worked with Christie’s New York prior to joined Freeman's in 2008, and in both Philadelphia and New York gained extensive experience in the area of client relations, bringing his vital knowledge of the concerns of consignors and buyers to the marketing and public relations arena. Internally, Mr. McCabe is responsible for the company’s website and online bidding platform, maintaining the standard of utilizing the most up-to-date technology and opportunities. As the fastest growing sector of our business, the website increases our global presence in the art market.
Following his graduation from Trinity College, Hartford, where he majored in Art History, Mr. McCabe earned a Masters in Art Business from the Sotheby’s Institute. Tom currently is an active board member of The Philadelphia Society of the Preservation of Landmarks and the Leadership Council at The Haverford School. He enjoys spending time with his family and biking and playing golf.
