The Pennsylvania Sale
Freeman’s is committed to the craftsmanship and artistry of our Commonwealth. As America’s oldest auction house, founded in Philadelphia in 1805, we celebrate the Quaker state’s legacy each November with The Pennsylvania Sale. This annual auction features an array of works made and used in Pennsylvania from the earliest Colonial period through the 20th century. Collectors will find historical manuscripts and documents, furniture, silver, folk and decorative arts as well as studio and contemporary design highlighted in this unique auction.
