November 18, Freeman’s proudly presents Modern and Contemporary Craft: Selections from the Robert L. Pfannebecker Collection — one of the most reputable and prominent collections of modern and contemporary craft in the United States. Spanning decades and media, the single-owner sale comprises studio ceramics, fiber and textile arts, glass sculptures, jewelry, and furniture by seminal artists, makers, and designers who Pfannebecker supported and befriended, including Helen Bitar, Dale Chihuly, Warren Seelig, Patti Warashina, Richard DeVore, Dominic DiMare, and Wayne Higby. In keeping with Pfannebecker’s commitment to emerging artists, proceeds from the auction will fund scholarships for artists of merit and need.
